Main Responsibilities: As a Translator and Content Specialist, you will be responsible for translating and localizing content from German and English into Portuguese. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Translation of Product Content: Translate new product descriptions from DE>PT and EN>PT. Ensure accurate translation of ingredients, feeding recommendations, and other product details. Verify correct settings and specifications for the Portuguese market.
- Content Localization: Translate and adapt landing pages to engage Portuguese-speaking users. Localize legal pages to comply with Portuguese laws and regulations.
- Marketing Materials: Translate brochures and other marketing materials from DE>PT and EN>PT. Adapt surveys and questionnaires for Portuguese-speaking audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and clarity.
- Content Updates: Update translated product descriptions, ingredients, feeding recommendations, and other related content as needed. Ensure all updates are accurately reflected in the Portuguese version.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the company’s tone and style guidelines. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement feedback and improve translation processes.
Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Portuguese (from Portugal).
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proven experience in translation and content localization, preferably in the product or marketing sectors.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt content for the Portuguese market.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
